Configuring Sending and Receiving Message Size Restrictions in Exchange Server 2007

Individual user mailbox can be configured so that users are restricted from sending and receiving messages above the predefined limits.

  1. Click on Start > Programs and then Microsoft Exchange Server 2007.
  2. Click on the Exchange Management Console (EMC).
  3. Expand Recipient Configuration, right click on any user and open its Properties tab. 


 

  1. Click on Mail Flow Settings tab on the top.
  2. Select Message Size Restrictions and click on the Properties.

 

6. Under Message Size Restrictions screen, enter the maximum sending and receiving mail size.
