Outlook Web Access (OWA) versions in Exchange Server 2007

Users who are travelling or having no access to Microsoft Outlook can use OWA from their browsers to access their mailboxes. Exchange Server 2007 supports two formats of OWA:-

1. OWA Premium, and

2.  OWA Light

OWA Premium requires Internet Explorer 6 or later which is available in operating systems, like Windows ME, Windows Server 2000, Windows XP/Vista, and Windows Server 2003.

OWA Light is supported on browsers supporting HTML 3.2 and ECMA, like

·  Windows 98/ME/XP/Vista,

·  Windows Server 2000/2003,

·  Mac OS 9 (Netscape 7.1)

·  Mac OS 10.3 (Safari 1.2)

·  RHEL 3 (Firefox 1.8/Netscape 7.1)

·  Sun Solaris 9(Firefox 1.8/Netscape 7.1)
