Microsoft has provided the Message Tracking feature in Exchange Server but with some modified stuff. Here are the new features of Message Tracking in Exchange server 2007.
- This feature is enabled by default.
- Message Tracking subject logging is enabled by default.
- Can only be configured from the PowerShell cmdlets.
- It can only be configured on Mailbox, HT or ET roles. Not on CAS or UM.
- Message tracking logs are retained for 30 days by default.
