This is a new feature in Exchange Server 2007 for Outlook
clients 2007 or newer. This is a web service that resides on the
Exchange 2007 Client access server role. This feature ease the burden of
administrators when they modify user's properties and reconfigure email
profiles which takes a significant time. This feature automatically
reconfigures user's email profile when there is any change in the user's profile. Autodiscover has replaced the Front-End server we know in Exchange 2000 and Exchange 2003.
Autodiscover directory is automatically created on the CAS server under Default Web Site in IIS.
